We had an exceptional stay at a lovely villa in Tissa. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the beautiful pool surrounded by banana trees and palms provided a relaxing oasis. We even booked an incredible safari, venturing off the main roads for a unique experience. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the delicious homemade food made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem! the beautiful garden and clean pool were perfect for relaxing. the family restaurant served the best Sri Lankan cuisine we've had so far. the private safari tour organized by the host in Yala was an amazing experience. the early breakfast they arranged for us was a thoughtful touch. We wish we had planned to stay longer than just one night.

I had the most incredible stay at this hidden gem in Sri Lanka. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The owner organized a fantastic full day safari for me with a knowledgeable and fun guide. The grounds were absolutely stunning, filled with lush greenery and beautiful birds. I spent hours by the pool, enjoying the serene atmosphere and watching the birds fly by. The rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast served outside in the morning was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fruits, omelette, tea, bread, jams. It was a truly delightful experience, and I highly recommend staying at this resort. I had a fantastic time and would definitely choose this place again for my next trip.

We stayed at Richard Cabannas for three nights and had an incredible experience. The property was impeccably maintained, with fruit trees surrounding the pool and communal areas. The family-run business was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We stayed in one of the pool rooms, which we highly recommend. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious and varied. The highlight of our stay was the private safari organized by Richard Cabannas, with our amazing safari driver Dilutha. this place is fantastic.

Despite our short visit, the owner went above and beyond, preparing a delicious breakfast box and accommodating our late check-out after the safari. The location was convenient, with restaurants and Tissa lake within walking distance for a memorable sunset. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Although the hotel is a peaceful escape, it can be a bit challenging to find due to ongoing road constructions nearby.

We got great value for our money at Richards Cabanas. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient, close to restaurants and not too far from the main road. The staff treated us like family, always welcoming us with a smile and helping us with any arrangements we needed.
